The initial enrollment of Multi-Factor Authentication is relatively simple. You'll login like usual and then you'll be prompted to answer a few questions. Please remember your answers as there is no way for IT to see the answers. All we can do is reset the account so you can enroll again. Below are screen shots of the setup.
Multi-Factor Authentication is the same as you have likely experienced with accessing your bank account or many popular apps like Facebook or Google. There is something you know (password) and something you have (text, security answer, authenticate app). In order to successfully authentication, you need both. For known devices, it won't prompt you for the second factor after the initial login.
